Predator to program chip?

Ken,
Could I possibly use the new F-150 Predator (coming out around early May) to reprogram my Diablo chip for my '93, since there is no Predator for my model year. I know my computer's EPROM is not programmable by itself, but if Diablo had the will, couldn't they find a way? Just curious.

I work in the computer industry, and so if the circuitboards on the chips are anything like conventional PC circuitboards, they accept input once (at the factory) and stay in that state for the rest of their silicon and fiber lives. They might make them with a circuitboard that can be flashed to update your settings, but I imagine they would be a lot more expensive, since that seems to be the way it is with a PC.

The EEC-IV computers use a PROM (not flash programmable). The EEC-V (started in 1994 in some Fords, 1996 in most) uses an EEPROM (electrically eraseable programmable read only memory).
