Too much heat

The vents in my truck will only put out super hot air out. The temperature contorl has not effect on the temperature of the vent air and te function selector does does change the air temperature either. The blower motor swicth still works.

I wouldappreciate any help in trouble shotting this problem. The thermostat seems to be operating proper but all I did was feel the hoses to see if the temperature change. Is there a more accurate method of checking the thermostat?

Your thermostat is probably ok but the blend door inside your system is probably hung up. That is why it is only blows hot air since it isn't letting any cold air in to mix with.

Ultra,

Thanks for the tip. I check the fuse and temperature selector **** seems to work (greater thean 3000 ohm on warm and less that 300 ohms on cool). The manual says to replace the blend door motor. Before I began searching for parts is there anything else I should check. Where can I locate a Blend Motor?
