460 head bolts

Does any one know if an EFI 460 has the same head bolt pattern as a pre 87 carb 460?

Yes, back to 1979 and a half. Might continue further back than that, however I haven't been able to prove otherwise.

I'm using 89 EFI heads on a 79.5 block, everything bolted up just dandy. Had to use the EFI intake, of course.

I second that. I have a pair of '92 EFI heads and intake bolted to a '77 block. No problem.

I also have some "88" fuelly heads on a Dove-A Block("70"). I know kind of a waste of a good block but I did it a few years ago before I knew what that block was.
