Engine light comes on
I have a 1994 power stroke 7.3 and the engine light has been coming on the last three weeks. Not all the time. It is getting worse as the days go. When it comes on i lose all power. Feels like it is running on 2 cylinders. Then it quits. Then it does it again. Feels and sounds like it is missing. Help.

may have had similar problems on my last truck. It was a 96 with something like 190,000 when it happened. It ended up being o-rings on injectors were shot. Took it to mechanic back before I knew how to work on them myself. Took about $1000 if i remember correctly. It mostly did it when the engine was lugged a little. Once i had a Stock trailer on and couldn't get it to pull 15 mph on the side of the interstate. Let somebody else pull the trailer and she drove the other 200 miles home with no problems. It got to blue and white smoking really bad and woulnd't hardly run. Finally ended up hauling it to the shop. I dont know if its the same problem but maybe it will be of some help!
