If it were my truck I wouldn't worry about a few dents in crossmembers. Who is gonna get under there and look at them anyway? If the dents interfere with the function of the crossmember then and only then would I consider replacing or fixing them...
I was thinking that too, but it must of been real stuck to bend the frame? Only reason I would like to fix'em is too make it show worthy, The first pic is the only damage that can be seen from above. -4speed
Are you going to take the frame apart? The first one that looks like the truck was pulling tree stumps. I would cut it in the center of both bends and then bend it back weld up were you cut it and grind it smooth. You will never see it.
The second one I am not sure what that is or why it is their. I will need to look under my truck to see what it should look like. Maybe for the spair tire holder? If you took the rivets out and layed it on the ground it should be easy to get it strait.
I'm not taking the frame apart, but it will come off the truck. I may try to do what you said to the first one as well as the second as I'd like to retain the factory rivets. I guess I'll haul the frame over to my welder when he does my cab supports. Thanks for the suggestions, -4speed
