Pulled codes - what to do now?

I posted a string in here about hesitation and jerking earlier on my 95 F-150 with 5 spd and 302. I pulled the codes just now with info from the fordfuelinjection site and got the following:
KOEO code - is 111 which I believe is system pass code
CO or CM - 122 which is TP sensor circuit below minimum voltage

Would the throttle position sensor be causing this problem and what is the correct voltage for the sensor? Should I just swap the part out? I haven't gotten a check engine light or anything on it yet.

Any help is appreciated.
Tom

I had that problem and code once and replaced the TP sensor. The problem went away. Dont know anything about voltage. I just shot-gunned the sensor.

111 is in fact system pass. as far as your tp sensor since it is just low voltage check all wires and connections. Is your truck "hunting for idle" if it is there is a good chance it is a tp sensor.

The TPS should show ~.8 or .9V at closed throttle, between the green wire and the black wire, with the key on, engine off, and the TPS plugged in. It should smoothly increase to around 4.8V at full throttle. You can also test the resistance of the sensor, although I can't remember the resistance values right off hand.

You had the same problem with the jerking and hesitation and replacing the TPS fixed it? How much is that part if you don't mind my asking? It is weird, like when I am shifting into 2nd the truck just kind of stops going for 1/2 a second or something and then goes again, producing a quick jerking motion. Then sometimes on the interstate I can feel it doing it too. Man, I hope that is the problem as I just bought this truck yesterday. I love the truck but didn't notice this problem when I test drove it.

Thanks a lot for the info. I'll bust out my voltmeter and check that out.

It's fixed! I couldn't find my voltmeter so i just bought another TPS - its only like 30 bucks or something so I went for it. It wasn't TOO bad to do it, the throttle body came off relatively easy, but I tore the gasket and had to make my own with sensor safe silicon gasket maker - anyway I installed the new TPS, put on a new rotor as the guy who sold it to me had purchased one when doing a tune up but just hadn't installed it, and I installed new battery terminals as it was a booger to get the originals off for the sensor install. One of those three things fixed it, but I'm fairly sure it was the TPS as the code went away. Maybe these computer controlled things aren't that bad if they really do tell you what is wrong like that. I really, really appreciate your assistance and your comments. I can't tell you how excited and happy I am that I didn't get screwed by buying this truck. I was dancing around last night like a dork and my wife thought I was crazy, but I was so worried I'd go through every sensor on there and still not find the problem. Thanks again!!
