I have a 2002 F350 7.3 A/T with 26900 on it, just got it. I only have the factory gauges on it. My question is when I drive normally around town with out pulling or carrying a heavy load, before shuting it down how long should I let it idle to cool everything down.
Thanks
BlueMonster
If by driving normally you are saying 30 mph city limis then you won't have to idle/cool down as you are not super heating your system. If "around town" is freeway 75 mph driving...normally by the time you idle down your city streets to your home your system should be cooled sufficiantly.
