7.3 fuel additives?

Are there any recommended additives to the fuel on a 7.3 powerstroke? Such as injector cleaners, etc. Thanks, Mike

7.3 fuel additives?

yes, they make an injector cleaner for diesels, they also make a fuel conditioner for winter. if you start having probs in the winter, a can of fuel conditioner usually clears it up (condensation in the fuel)

7.3 fuel additives?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 02-Jan-03 AT 06:38 PM (EST)]I, like a lot of other guys, use Stanadyne Performance Formula. It raises the cetane level, cleans injectors, and raises the gel point of the fuel. I can honestly feel the difference in the way the truck runs with/without it, and recommend it strongly. Though it's available at most truck stops, the best price I've found for it is at Diesel Injection Service. I hope this helps.

And a wish list that gets longer every day.
