Spark plug wire retainer
I almost hate to ask, but what is the trick to opening the spark plug wire retainer on a 4.6L with spark plug wires?
I realize that one end serves to "hinge" the cover and it looks like the other end has a "scissor-like" closure. Do you place a small, flat screwdriver at the closure end, parallel with the wire and twist or what?
I feel SO stupid!! Please help.

Dont worry if it seems like a stupid question. Sometimes we all ask those
Yes you use a flat screwdriver to pop the end apart. Usually you just give it a good twist and it will come apart. You just push it back together.
