I've been told time again by coworkers and others, to sell you. They just don't see the whole picture. Last year, I bought you a new motor and tranny. I just gave you new tires. However, recently, you informed me, your frame is cracked. Well, honey, I made you an appointment next week, it's all good. I can't wait till we can go places together, you and I. We're moving out of state soon, and you'll need A/C, so you can keep cool. Coworkers say, look at the money you've tossed to that truck, why don't you sell it.

Well, everything has to be replaced someday, and maintaining you isn't cheap (bein' a 4 wheel drive), when you get mad, you break things.. I'm pretty rough on you, I've used you for everything you could offer me. You've been there for me when there was a call for duty. And who knows how you were cared for, before me. When there's a problem, you're fixed within a week. I KNOW what your needs are, why would I want to dump you, and start over with someone else? You take care of my needs, and I take care of you. It's a mutual love affair. Some people don't understand what you mean to me. They just see you as transportation, I see you as inspiration.

I admit, I sometimes might glance over my shoulder at another, but please believe I will only look, and not buy. My heart belongs to you. Always have, always will, ever since I laid my eyes on you.

i felt the same way about my last truck, i spent 370,000+ miles with her, and i still miss her...... i even i like the newer truck , it still isnt like my old baby........tears in my beer....

lol nice. People tell me to sell my 76 4x4, "its a piece of crap" they say, you wanna know what I say?
"Shutup Ill run your car over little ricer kid" then they look in awe when they realize that I can. They run, run far away, in their ricer things. They run like chicken. Thats why chicken and rice go so well together. Im rambling, so goodbye. I love my truck though.

 

Nothing wrong with loving your truck that much Bigblu. I love mine also. To me, it really doesn't matter how much $$ I put into it, as long as I enjoy owning and driving it. I can honestly say, that although there are many good looking newer vehicles out there, I don't see any that I would like to own.
So to all those people that don't understand us!
We here at FTE know what your feeling.....can someone please pass the straightjackets....

Oh, and I think that Blu deserves a present after getting out of frame surgery!
