Locking gas cap, got the wrong one.
Picked up my wheel locks and locking gas cap that was ordered 3/30. Well the locks work but when I went to change out gas caps, it wouldn't fit. I almost had to pull out the wooden mallet from my colored peg board to hammer it in. Actually I had the "3 ear" style from the 03's. The parts dept "guessed" that it would fit. Well the good news is Ford didn't have one and when I went over to Advanced Auto they didn't have one either. But the real kicker is that "AA" only charges $21.95 for the Stant 03 model which my dealership wanted $50.00 for. So, I plan on waiting and saving the extra $30.00 Just a little FYI. Does anyone here know the Stant part # or if it's available. I'm sending them an e-mail.
