Front Shocks?

I was wondering if anyone knows how hard it is to replace the front shocks. I have a technical mind and was in automotive in high school so I am not a totally idiot, but things have changed these days and I have uneven tread ware. Waves in the front tires. I bought these tires 1 year ago and I have about 10K miles on them. Any help would be helpful. Thanks.

not hard at all. just did that sunday. its a nut on the top and two on the bottom that you have to take off. after that, compress it and pull it off. oh, and you have to take this worthless piece of cloth or something off but you will know what it is. depending on how you jack up your car you're looking at an hour tops.

Thanks

Thank you!!!! I have been reading about the twin I-Beam and was wondering if that had to come off as well. I am very thankful.

One hangup to be aware of. On mine, the lower mounting bolt that is part of the radius arm was almost rusted through and broke off. If this happens, you'll either have to drill out the old stud and install a generic aftermarket shock absorber bolt or buy a new radius arm. If that bolts still in good shape, it's a pretty easy job.

I would spray the bolts liberally with penetrating oil several times in advance of doing the work.
