muffler

I was just looking under my truck the other day and I noticied that I had water dripping out of the bottom of my muffler. there is a small hole right below the exaust pipe on the end of the muffler. is that common or does that mean it is time for a new muffler? there isnt really any rust or anything like that and it still sounds the same it just leaves a nice puddle every morning after I drive it for a little while.

It's normal. They punch the hole in the muffler so condensation will drain out. Helps to avoid rusting out the muffler. Some muffler shops will even drill the hole to help the longevity.
