Superduty engines 2005
Hey guys whats the word on the new engine updates for 2005. I heard the 6.0l will be getting a power update as well as the V-10. A 3valve engine like the 5.4 in the 150. Any horsepower numbers on the new engines. When will the 2005 models go in production. Any thoughts out there.

JOB1 for the '05 SD will be mid-July. On dealer lots early/mid-August.
Yes, the 5.4 and V-10 get the 3v treatment. HP and torque numbers on the 5.4 should be the same as on the '04 F150. V-10 goes to 355/440.
As of now, the 6.0 gets a slight increase in torque to 570. This could change to meet/beat the competition and give Ford back bragging rights.

Question??????????? Assumptions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The 6.0 will have more torque in 05, will this most likely be accomplished through a "flash" or will there most likely be physical changes to accomplish this. In other words, after the 05's come out and if an 04 gets reflashed is it possible that it would have the same torque as an 05?????????
