I'd guess at 2500 to 3000 for both years in some form, or another not all were totally the same or totally complete. That's about 1 in 200 or so. It's an educated guess too.
The actual statistics were supposedly lost in a fire at the FoMoCo Archives in late 60s or early 70s, or so the story goes. . . .

Hah. . . I know that's right, Eric. 
Just like 62 Vettes, 12,000 more registered than were built in 1962. . . . . . HMmm, sounds like a statistics problem I had once ! !
