6 DISC CD-Changer RDS
I have an 04 Explorer with the 6-Disc cd changer. I have problems with the RDS on this stereo not working properly. A lot of stations in my area broadcast the name of the song that is playing, the artist, etc etc. On my car, it only picks up part of this, skips words, and even scrambles letters sometime.
I was at the dealer today and they swapped out the radio. It is still doing the same thing. I have seen escapes at the dealer wth the same stereo that have the exact same problem.
Does anyone know if this is a problem in the design of the radio? Is there any fix? This is really annoying me. I'm about ready to call Ford Customer Care to see what they have to say about this.
