Where to get Engine Cover

i see my 97 PSD is missing the "Direct Injection Turbo"
Cover that is dead center of the motor, I saw it in alot of the photos
on the site.
Is this cover necessary?? Can i get it at the dealer?
Why do some trucks i see have it and others dont?
