ABS problem 96 F150
I have a 1996 F150 with the ABS and park brake light both staying on. I had noticed in the past 2 weeks a "scrubbing" type of noise coming from one of the rear wheels. I assumed it was time for new brake shoes. I also noticed that when braking, you can feel a slight pull to one side from the rear, not the front, sort of like a twisting. Again, I just assumed it was time for new brakes.
There has been a popping noise as well that I have noticed. It is definitely more noticeable when its wet or rainy. This usually occurs as I brake to make a turn. Maybe it is related, I don't know.
Im a pretty decent mechanic but not a very good trouble shooter and Im not very familiar at all with the ABS system. Of course in the manual it says to get to a dealer as soon as possible but funds don't allow that.
Again, thanks in advance for any advice and info. It is much appreciated!
