Lightning Engine Swap

I have a 1992 Eddie Bauer Bronco with a 5.8 351W. I need to replace my engine. Can I swap an engine from a 1993 Lightning into my Bronco?

If I can swap engines is a straight swap or will I need a new computer, intake manifold, or airbox?

Yup you can swap it in. Since the Lightning has GT-40 heads you may have a problem with the spark plugs but not sure. I don't know if they used different exhaust manifolds for this or not but everything alse should bolt right up(they are both a 351W).

The lighting motor has gt-40 heads not gt-40p heads, so you should be fine there.
