clutch bad?????
i know basically nothing about trannys and clutches so any help is appreciated. i bought a 86 f150 inline 6. the guy told me clutch was new but seemed very low to floor. the shifting has become extremely hard and now its fully engaged when started up. i changed the slave cylinder with little help. how can i tell if its clutch vs tranny. i can shift throuhg the gears when not running, otherwise its always engaged. how much to fix?

Come to a complete stop put it in forth gear if it dies the clutch is good but if it struggles the clutch is bad. IF you do the work yourself a good kit for mine was a zoom for like a $140 from Advance, autozone is a little cheaper a shop wanted from 400 to 600 .They arnt real hard to do .
