bad clutch?????????
i know basically nothing about trannys and clutches so any help is appreciated. i bought a 86 f150 inline 6. the guy told me clutch was new but seemed very low to floor. the shifting has become extremely hard and now its fully engaged when started up. i changed the slave cylinder with little help. how can i tell if its clutch vs tranny. i can shift throuhg the gears when not running, otherwise its always engaged. how much to fix?

This post will probably get moved - but there is an adjustment on the pushrod from the pedal to the clutch master cylinder. Move the jam nut to bring your pedal back out.
Also check out your firewall - these have a habit of breaking around the vac assist housing and will do what you describe.
