Service Engine Light

Is it possible, and if so how can I clear the check engine light on my 2000 Expy?

Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes. This will clear the codes, although if there is a problem, the light might come back on.

Thanks, The problem I had was with the Gas cap not being on correctly, If I could clear the code, I would know if there was a real problem.
