Well on my 88 one of my screws just disappered, so I went and got a new one. When I went to put it in I found out that the screw would only go in so far untill it just seemed like it could go no further, but it felt like it was still going in. On the inside of the door there are these nuts (which just kept spinning in it's hole).....thats what I would like to call them, well to make a long story short just take your door panel off and get a wrench back there to hold them while you tighten down the screw.
