Surging At Idle
Problem 1:is At 281 Miles It Lurched Forward At Idle While Stopped At A Red Light? The Engine Surged In Power. It Has Done It Twice.
Problem 2: I Have Noticed That You Have To Come To A Complete Stop And Wait A Couple Of Seconds Between Shifting From Park To Reverse And Reverse To Drive. Tranny Seems To Clunk Into Gear. Ok For Now, But Not Sure About Longevity Of It Clunking Into Gear Each Time? It Seems To Surge A Little When Shifting Into Gears. What Causes This????? And Is It Normal For The New Torqueshift??
My Company Has A Whole Fleet Of Ford Trucks:
96 F-800 I6 Diesel Chassis W/ A Jerr-dan Roll Back Mounted. Low Profile.
2000.5 Xlt 4x4 Supercab Short Bed F-250 7.3
2003 Xl Reg.cab F-350 6 Spd. 4x4 W/ Reading Box Body 6.0
I Can't Do A Comparison On Our F-350 Becuase It Is A 6-spd Manual. It Drives Very Differant Than My Truck Does. I Hope This Is Just Something Simple To Fix And Not An Indication Of How This Truck Is Going To Perform. If It Ain't Runnin ,i Ain't Makin No Money. I Am Sure A Lot Of Folks Here Understand That!
