I see on average five Superdutys a day just driving in traffic, but if they aren't expecting a wave then why would they be looking at you? I've passed all these Superdutys and I always see if they are looking at me and they never are so that gives me the idea none of them are really enthusiasts around here. Am I wrong?
I guess you're right, only other SD I've seen looking at my truck is the one that I wave with........and there was another guy but I haven't seen him in a while. He stopped and talked with me before he lifted his truck....followed me into a parking lot.
We'll have to meet up sometime.
Hehe then its really to bad that there are hundred of thousands of SD's where i drive, I'd be like a psyco, and get shot GL to you guys no tin california though...
See, now you going to have me not paying attention. It was hard enough mooning all the Dodge and Chevy trucks. If I wave at all the SD's I won't have time to drive. Where I live people used to wave, but it used to be country, now the suburbs are taking over. All the people on their 1/3 acre lots in there japanese imports and toyota trucks.
On bikes the guys on Harleys don't wave so is it going to be the same with the guys in the Harley Fords? They will be the only ones not waving?
I have heard this more times than I can remember. I ride a two wheel HD and wave at ANY other bike I see so please don't lump ALL Harley riders in one group. I even went so far as to buy a guy two gallons of gas, take him back to his bike, help him put it in (using my gas can), and waited until he got is started and rode off. He was riding a Honda too. He said "you know you HD guys are not all that bad and I will stop to help any rider I see broke down from now on". I don't want to start a bike thread here but I wanted to put my $.02 in. BTW, I was in my truck but he saw the HD sticker.
I usually go to 3 or 4 "bike week " events a year and after a week I get tired of waving at every bike that goes by. So if I don't wave at fellow SD owners it might be one of those weeks after and my "waver is worn out"! Just did not want anyone to think I was unsociable.
