o.k. I bought an 87 F-250 xtra cab 8' bed with a 460 and what I think is a C6 tranny. I was changing the oil today and noticed some wires coming out of the back of the tranny (three or four). Now I dont know much at all about ford's auto trannys, but I thought the c6 was not electronic at all. Only thing I can think is the wires are for the back up lights. Thge gear selector is as follows.
