Trust me buddy.
Cherry Bombs are loud enough already to where they don't need any assistance. If you want to go louder then Cherry Bombs then you may consider straight pipes.
Now that method you speak of may work on normal glass packs, I don't know.
This is the first I've ever heard of that.
