which way to go

i know i could post this in the tranny section but i am directing it at fellow strokers...what have you done to your auto to make it shift better there are a few options out there that i have seen. my brother got a predator for his excursion he has set the tranny to the hard setting and it does shift way better than stock but then i read on motorhavens site about the diablo valve for the tranny. can it be used along with the programmer? i still noticed in my brothers truck the effect described about not having constant fluid pressure and it still hesitating to go into another gear until it has enough pressure. i will be changing the tranny fluid in my f250 in the next few months and would like to do the valve if it really helps. with the intention of going with the tuner down the road. thanks for all the help!

I run the Sonnax valve and TriCumulator springs in my truck. I just put them in about a month ago and they made a big difference. The shifts are a little hard the first drive of the day before the tranny warms up, but I don't even notice it any more. But get on the go pedal and she just rips through the gears right nice. I would suggest them to anyone! Drives like a different truck and tranny temps stay a bit lower too, not that I've had it even close to hot but....
