Question Black Wheels

http://www.americanracing.com/images...mega/m3981.jpg, This is the AR Mojave with teflon.

I would like to know your opinion on this wheel.Should I get it or just powder coat some other type of wheel in black.

I didn't see that rim in my search but its not bad.

It seems like either 285 or 295 is as big as you should go with stock lift.

I had BFG TA's-295/75R16's (33.4" tall) on my stock rims. It gets a little tight on the backside (depending on your mudflap style), but it worked just fine for me. I have a picture in my (incomplete) gallery. I certainly won't be doing and major off roading at that size!

I currently have Nitto 404's-305/60R18 on Am.Racing Wolverine Rims. As the tires are only a temporary deal with my wholsaler, I will be putting on Nitto Grappler AT's next week. They are 325/60R18's and will fit. (I will post closeup pictures when mounted). Whatever you do, make sure you calculate the specific tire height before buying. Point being that 325's are not all the same. Nitto also makes a 325/65R18-but they are too big (34.6" ) vs the 60's at 33.3". At any event a 34" overall heighth is too tall, and will rub without some type of lift.
