I am getting ready to do a manifold swap on my 99 f150! I am wondering what the sensor is that is plugged into the top of the exhaust manifolds are? I have 227,000 miles on my truck so i am sure that it is time to change them! If i change them would i notice an increase in gas milage?
They would be the O2 sensors. You're talking about the sensors that are plugged directly into the exhaust manifold right? Yea, go ahead and replace them.
