Hey Dingbat,
I'm afraid it may be cheaper to sell your truck and buy one with a 4.0. To do the conversion, you'd need to change pretty much everything under the hood, wiring, some dash electrical components and wiring, computers, and the transmission. I run a salvage yard, specializing in Rangers, Explorers, and Bronco IIs; it's very frustrating to learn that very few parts interchange on these vehicles........easily anyway. Thanks,
