I have a '70 sport custom in awesome shape except for the usual, cab corners, floorpans, and inner fenders. My question is can a novice bodyman pull this off? I have a professional welder, and lots of time and patience, but I am leery of this, because I want it done right, but I want to say I did it myself. Should I suck it up and let a body man do it or go for it myself? Let me know what you think! Thanks.

Sure you can. If you have the 3 T's (tool, time, and talent), I'll be a peice of cake. If you have tools, time, and the ability to develop the talent, then I'll be a great learning experience.
I have a '67. It had rusted out floor pans. A freind of mine gave mee some thick alluminum sneet metal, I cut off the rust and screwed the sheet right over the good steel. Its very solid now. Also, If you think that cab corners will be a problem, you can buy just the corners, and weld them in place. This shouldnt be a problem even for a novice with a mig. Sorry a bout the grammer, Most people tyupe like s**t after a case4 of beer.
