Anyone ever used these before?? How do you like them, what sizes do they hav and how much are they?? I can't find anything on them. Thanks for any replys.
Never trust the mags on their tire reports. I have seen so much bs come out of their "tire comparisons" that I gotta wonder how greased their palms get. Their last big one list baja claws as working in mud better than boggers. C'mon, I know this for a fact is complete bs...ask anybody who's run either. Find some guys who actually run these tires before you buy them, don't go off what the mags say...

So true. Mag product reviews are nothing but glorified advertising. Ever notice that they never review any products that aren't advertised in their mag?
Anyways, regarding the Nittos. In the past, Nitto has typically built tires aimed at the ricer market. I don't see the Mud Grapplers as anything more than a Thornbird wanna be whose primary target market is mall krawlers with their 18" Momos and chromed springs. JMO.

Thats EXACTLY how I think of them too. But then, I don't know a single soul who has ever run them so can't say with any authority. Although, the fact that its the only tire I've never known anybody to run says something as well.

Pro, Im pretty sure (although not positive) that they're brand new and thats why they only offer one size, prolly why you dont know anyone whos run em too
They've been around for a year or two. Much longer than say, the Swamper IROK. Considering the IROKs seem to be catching on like wildfire, I think that has something to say about the Grapplers. Yes, I know. Thats sort of an odd parralell to draw. Maybe it's their outrageous price. Either way, it's gonna take more than a magazine review that just happens to have two full page adds for the Grappler in the rag to convince me.
outrageous is for sure, id be your guys' guinea pig, and if they suck just buy a pair of boggers for playing (ive been toying with that idea anyway, something that looks good and may be a good snow tire and another set thats good in the mud) because I sure think they look cool, but not $400 a tire cool.
