Right Choice

Bought my new truck yesterday. Had a choice both trucks 2004 both built
March 4 2004.
truck a) SRW lariet 3.73 rear
truck b) DRW lariet 4.10 rear

I bought truck b and love it so far. Question. I noticed that off the lot the shift points at first seemed ruff compared to my 2002. This has seemed to smoothed out now with 100 miles on it. Is this normal at start or something to look at?

Welcome to FTE, lots of good info around here

You didn't say what engine and transmission combination you got, but if it is the PSD with the Torqueshift, the transmission has a learning curve and must learn your driving style to shift the most effectively for your use. It will get better as it learns your style.

Hope this helps
