Wiring an electric choke?

I've been having a hard time with the wiring on my elecrtic choke since I bought my new Edel. 650cfm performer carb 2 1/2 years ago!

I finally tried one that has an integrated ground and I think it worked for a short time, but again I have to use my "specially engineered" maunual choke.

Can anyone offer some help?? It will be greatly appreciated!

Are you hooking it up to the stator terminal of the alternator, which is the correct way? Havent had any probs with the edel's I've installed

I never had a problem with mine on my old chevy. I ran a power from the fuse box and ran my ground around over to where the negitive battery terminal connects to the fender. Hope this helps you.
