Any issues with 8' bed and supercab?

Any issues with 8' bed and supercab?
I'm looking for supercab XL/XLT with 5.4, 8' bed, and payload package. I talked with a couple of dealers and they seem to think there was either an issue with them or they were not being produced yet with those options. Anyone have any insight into this?

I have a SCAB 8' bed and have had not problems. Truck is about 5 weeks old and has 950 mi. Havent gotten a good read on mileage yet but time will tell. My dealer had two HD trucks on his lot. Both were XLs, mine blue and the other white. The XLs were a little dressed up, running boards, fog lights, speed control, privacy glass, and sliding rear windows. Kinda like having your cake and eating it too at least for me.

Ford will no longer build a 4x2 Supercab 4.6 on a 133" wheelbase- that may be what your dealer was referring to. WHY this combination is no longer available, I have no idea. I actually had one on order for a customer when Ford announced the cancellation, so the customer had to go with a different wheelbase, or the 5.4. Either way, he wasn't happy, and we had to eat the difference in the cost. Thank you, Ford.
