throttle body spacers help

throttle body spacers help

i installed a helix now my truck stalls . ireset the computer same thing. should i try disconnectind throttle position sensor and battery ?

What year truck and what engine? I have a poweraid TBS and never had a problem. Did it come with new gaskets? Maybe you disconnected a hose or something by accident?

tbs problem

its a 2002 explorer 4.0 v6 the tbs i installed was a helix i used the new gasket.i dont think i dissconnected the throttle position sensor

Not sure what it could be, but if it started after you added the TBS, its probably something loose not the TBS itself. Does it stall right away? Check your MAF connection. Hope that helps.

Dump the TB spacer, they do nothing. That should take care of your problem!

I must strongly agree. The throttle body spacers and tornados do nothing but take up space. If you are looking for more hp, get a performance chip (diablo), air intake (airrade, mac, k&n), flowmaster or gibson muffler and a dual electric fan.
