Finding my explorer
I'm wonding if it's impossible to find the explorer I want. I'm not even sure if one with the options I want is around. 
I'm looking for a v8 awd or 4wd with a manual transmission. Are manual transmissions frowned upon that much? 
Anyone know where I might find what I'm looking for?

And '91-'95, the only engine offered was the 4.0 OHV V6. If it's any consolation, though, the 4R70W automatic that came behind the V8's is reported to be a good, solid automatic transmission.
And you won't find (from the factory anyway) a 2nd generation V8 with 4WD. It will either be 2WD or AWD. The newest Explorers (if you're considering something brand new) do have 4WD with the V8, but I don't know if they offer a manual transmission. If you're willing to consider something brand new, you might swing by a dealership and see if that's an option.
