kluncking sound

manunal shifting problems & front end noise
Need some help. I have a 2002 f-250 with manunal transmission. when shifting to 2 gear it makes a kluncking sound. also when i'am backing up and i push in the clutch it also makes this sound. i also have a noise in the front end. when i go over a bump it sounds like something is rubbing. any one have any ideas on what it could be? thanks

The "clunk" could be the rear driveline yoke. If so, remove the driveline (be sure to mark it's location) and install some teflon grease in the yoke. You can do a search on "clunk" here in the Super Duty forum and get more details.
The noise up front could be the spring hangers/bushings or the track bar is loose.
