how do i join the ny chapter

Welcome hisjr! Nice to meet you! I don't know that there's anything required to join a Chapter. Make sure you watch the forum & post. We're planning a few outings this summer - hopefully you can join in too! What part of NY are you from? I'm in Buffalo.

THE BRONX?????? - I GREW UP THERE!!!!!! I graduated from Bx Science in '72 & moved up here in '75 but the Bronx will WILL ALWAYS BE MY HOME!!! Sorry WNY! LOL! Do you know Pelham Bay Pkwy? I lived 4 blocks from there - Rhinelander Ave to be specific. Where in the Bronx are you - generally speaking?
You have to try coming to some of the summer events - I have to hear a Bronx accent again. I'm losing mine - darn it!
What truck do you have? Do you off road? What about truck shows - interested in attending some? Keep us posted! Bye again!

the bronx has been ok to me, been here for 10 years. i'm in morrisania about 7 blocks from yankee stadium here. we're moving in a couple of years to orange county, nothing wrong with the bronx but i need to see more trees. i'm a country boy. my truck is an 01' F250 5.4L CC LB. was about to seriously get into offroading with my lift kit, wheels and gear change but put everything on hold right now because of our newborn. i'll have picks up soon. i'm waiting for my "imported" snugtop camper from missouri. as soon as she's repainted i'll show her off before the lift, gears and new wheels.
