99 SD vibration/bouncing
Hopefully, someone else has solved this and can enlighten me! My 1999 F250 SD (4X4 ext cab long WB) vibrates and bounces on some road surfaces at speeds from 55-75 MPH, with a sensation from the rear much like an out-of-round tire. This did not start until about 7000 miles. I have had the tires balanced, tried new tires/wheels, inspected shocks, etc. Two dealers have told me "this truck just rides that way" (B.S. - it didn't for the 1st 7000 miles!). I suspect either (1) defective rear shock damping or (2) a driveshaft vibration. Any suggestions?
