Hey guys i want t put 35's on my truck but seeing how the gears in it now with 32's dont do much(not much power even with new engine) i want to go lower. I have 4.1 gears now and i am thinking about 4.56 or lower. I dont only want to counteract the tires but i want it to have more power. I was told by someone that i cant go lower than 4.30 in that truck without some modifications.. have you heard of that.

 

I think you can go to 4:56 w/o mods but this will feel normal and not much extra power with 35's. Maybe a little better than factory but not much...

 

A swap from 4.10 to 4.56 wont gain a whole lot...what transmission/motor you running?

 

351 5spd im not sur ethe gearing in the tranny

 

if hes haveing power issues with a 351, then there is some other Problem.

 

not a lack of power other than just being a 351... 351's arent that powerful stock
