Doing this to my 61 and the 302 fits like a dream with a C4. You can get the engine mounts of the shelf for the conversion which makes it easy. I can email anyone some of my pics if you like.

i am getting ready for a 302 with an aod trany swap in my 61 unibody.how do you know where to put the aftermarket cross member and mounts?do you get a measurment with them or do you have to set the motor and trany in truck and mark where you think they should go?
