I have 89 ranger 4x4, ext cab 102k. Im hearing a squeaky whine in my front end, im pretty sure its coming from the wheels. Also, when i bought the truck, the guy told me that ebrake didnt have a release spring, and i think it may be engaged just a small bit. Do you think that could be causing the squeaking?
Since the ebrake only applies pressure to the rear axle, I doubt that is causing a squeaky whine in the front end. Is the whine speed dependent? Jack up each front wheel to spin and wobble it to check the front wheel bearings.
