I am the proud owner of a 1989 E-150 conversion van that was given to me by my brother-in-law and am in the process of trying to fix it up. I bought a book on the fuel injection systems in general and have not yet been able to check out the codes for the computer. I have already checked the inertia switch, and it seems to be working ok. I am not sure what else to check out as I don't seem to have power to either of my fuel tank pumps. Can someone tell me any possible problems that me be present.
Thank you

I was given a Haynes book for the ford van by my daughters ex-boyfriend.
I found the relay and can feel it energize when the key is turned on.

I believe the switch is the inertia switch and I haven't checked for power there yet. I checked all the fuses and found none blown. I will need to pick up a new battery beforeI can continue testing.. Thank you both for your quick responses.
