Rear speaker wiring

I need to figure out how to wire rear speekers into my ranger. There are empty spots where the speekers should go so i guess it never came with speakers. I checked behind the stock head unit and there are no empty spaces for wires in the block. I did find...

Radio:

Black Wire - Ground
Black With White Stripe Wire - Right Rear Speaker
Light Blue With Red Stripe Wire - From Light Switch To Radio (light) (Headlights)
Light Green With Yellow Stripe Wire - Hot At All Times To Radio
Orange With Black Stripe Wire - From Light Switch To Radio (Light) (Parking)
Orange With Red Stripe Wire - Right Rear Speaker
Red Wire - To Ground With Black Wire
Yellow With Black Stripe Wire - Hot In Accessory Or Run To Radio

(With Convenience Power Group)

Dark Green With Orange Stripe Wire - Right Door Speaker
Light Blue With White Stripe Wire - Left Door Speaker
Orange With Light Green Stripe Wire - Left Door Speaker
White With Light Green Stripe Wire - Right Door Speaker

(Without Convenience Power Group)

Dark Green With Orange Stripe Wire - Right Door Speaker
Light Blue With White Stripe Wire - To Dark Green With Orange Stripe Wire To Left Door Speaker
Orange With Light Green Stripe Wire - To White With Light Green Wire To Left Door Speaker
Pink With Light Green Stripe Wire - Left Rear Speaker
Tan With Yellow Stripe Wire - Left Rear Speaker
White With Light Green Stripe Wire - Right Door Speaker

But should there already be wires behind the seat? Because i can't find them. So how should i go about wiring this up?

If there aren't any wires behind the seat then just run your own. Might be a little work but if there aren't any wires there already, then it's the only way.

But where are the speaker wires going to that come from the connector in the back of the stereo? The little "block" of wires is full, theres no other place to run new wires from it.

Here's a wiring guide that was correct for my 2002; I'd imagine your 1999 is the same. If you don't have any rear speaker wiring in the harness, you could tap off of the front speakers with squeeze connectors (like Radio Shack part #64-3052). The sound quality will be slightly degraded and you won't have any front/back fade control, but it'll work.

Pin Circuit Circuit function
1 19 (LB/RD) Power, Hot with Headlamps on
1000 (RD/BK) Voltage supplied in Start (overload protected) 3
2 57 (BK) Ground

If you try fishing around down where the holes go into the metal, you might find the factory wiring laying down at the bottom. When I put new speakers behind my seats the wire fell down there and it took about two hours fishing with a bent coat hanger to pull the wire back up.

I'd like to know if there is stock wiring before i try. I'd imagine there is because the plug in the back of the stereo has all of the wires plugged in. Any suggestions on how i should go about finding them down in there?
