Question half breed help

well i think my new truck is a half breed.... the new ride is a 72 f-100 4x4 but from what i am understanding the 72 didnt have disc brakes on the front as well from some searching iam understanding that disc brakes wernt offered untill 1976....can someone help with this info....and if my findings are correct how can i indentifie what frame and running gears are under my truck. ie: axle tags, frame tags, anything....this is turning into kind of a cluster but i still like the truck....any and all info is much appreciated

Disc brakes were not offered on the 4x4 F-100 of this year range, only the 2x4 F-100. If you search this forum, people have converted them.
