Got into a minor wreck the other day, bent up my front bumper and the filler panel undeneath the grill, i'm going to repair it myself and i was wondering how hard it is to remove and replace the parts, truck is a 1992 F150 XLT
Your bumper is just a few bolts. The hardest part is busting the nuts loose.
I would say remove your grille to replace that filler panel. It will be much easier. Once you got that far that filler panel is held on by 5 bolts (I think). 2 on each side & 1 in the middle.
Yeah, pretty simple, straightforward job. My '94 had 4 small bolts and 4 large required to remove the bumper. I actually replaced mine with a bumper from a turbo truck--the bumper with the holes in the middle for increased airflow.. I think it looks great.
