Seems like I am following you all over FTE,I just read your thread in the model-A post,an 84 with a 460 sounds sweet.
I was told it couldn't be done by some car gurus around here. After searching awhile I found a 89 super coupe bird with the 460 & found all the parts I need to do the swap succesfully.
There will definatly be a sign on the dash that say...
No not really. I looked at the links you provided but they all seem to be geared towards the early model T-Birds & I would prefer to find info about the Fox Bodies (1983-1988).
I guess I'm looking for a forum like this so I can see what modifications have been done to those car or even thought of.
I did find this one http://www.sccoa.com but it seems more geared towards the super coupes of 89-95.
i'll make some contacts and see what i can come up with.

It is still a concept in my mind & if it becomes real it will then become my next winter project.
I just thought I would start looking & getting ideas on what to do & what not to do based on what has been done.
I don't want to trick out a 460 & drop it into a T-Bird just to go to BIR Dragstrip & meet about 20 other cars with the same set-up in this area.
I prefer to go there an dominate the other cars with built 350's & 351's.
Check with your local boneyards, one of them should have a locator service, and should be able to find just what you are looking for.Wish I had know you were lookin for that body style a week ago,I bought a 86 cougar for the 302 and would have givin you the rest of it,but after the week I had last week, you dont want it now, lets just say the only thing left in one piece is the glass, cause I didnt want to clean up a glass mess,But oh man what a great stress reliever!
cool, i used to have a 86 turbo coupe 5sp , man what a blast that car was. i've got a 64 now with the 390 4 barrel 300 hp, there nothin like a bird. oh yea read the edit on my last post.
I can get the car, that is not a problem. I know where there are plenty sitting at right now. If I remember correctly the man that is chopping the top on my F-150 has one sitting there.
I just want to know what people have done to them performance wise.
