do rail car numbers change ???
I have the railcar assignment number that my truck was assigned to. I created an account on the Norfolk Southern website to track said car. The car came south and then went back to shelbyville ky for ford re-use. Is the car number always the same ???

Yes the railcars do not change once the vehicle is loaded at the factory it stays in the same rail car until it is unloaded, Norfolk Southerns system is not very accurate i work for CSX and tracked my new super duty all the way try looking for the phone number on CSX web page for customer service and you can track it by phone, I hope this helps you.
